Each JKD Unlimited kit includes a semi-rigid rubber Sig P365 training handgun and Station 9 training blade. The 365 is a rubber with fiberglass rods within the grip and slide to help with leverage, but with soft sights to prevent injury. This rubber is not sticky like other rubber training guns on the market.

The 7.5” training blade is flexible for safety while being rigid enough for both partners to get feedback when stabbing.

Burton Richardson requires students in his JKD Unlimited and For The Street classes to always have a safe replica pistol or replica knife on them during training. This way, weapons awareness is always front and center, regardless of whether they are doing empty hand, scenarios, kickboxing, clean, or ground.

These two are Burton‘s favorites. He uses these in his personal training and highly recommends that others use these same tools. Since they are not bulky, they are easy to stow in the waistband, and they tend to stay in place during training. The pistol is specially designed with no trigger guard and trigger. These are much safer when pressure testing the techniques.
